Helloworld.exe – A Beginning

What’s up

This used to be a thing when I used Opera waaaay back in the day. Here we go again I suppose.

I’ve been using Vivaldi as my daily driver for a few weeks now. I have to say, it’s been a huge improvement in my workflow so far. Yeah, this thing is as feature-loaded as Opera used to be, way back when, but a couple of things really stood out to me immediately:

Tab Tiling

The ability to tile several tabs in one window immediately solved one of my most frustrating workflow issues. I pretty much got into using this browser for that feature alone. I have to essentially fill two forms at the same time for a living right now, so this makes doing that tedium a lot more simple to manage.

Tab Stacks

Yeah, I know there are extensions for x and y that will do this, but native tab grouping/stacking just blew me away. Immediately. Smart stacking by hostname? Genius. Hands-down one of the most underrated features, and immensely useful for attempting to organize a runaway browser window full of random tabs.
